Artery

Vilnius, Lithuania

Description

Artery is a completed architectural landmark in the heart of Vilnius, seamlessly blending sculptural elegance with environmental sensitivity. The 20,000-square-meter building complex comprises an 18-story glass tower rising from a 6-story podium, unified by a luminous, glass-covered galleria. This bold composition forms a harmonious progression of volumes that reflects the “urban hill” concept of the central business district. The tower’s sculpted geometry and multifaceted glass façade enhance the city skyline with its dynamic play of light, shadow, transparency, and opacity—mirroring the Lithuanian sky and surrounding landscape.

Strategically situated at Konstitucijos Avenue 18B, just steps from the White Bridge, Neris River, and the Old Town, Artery anchors a prime location in the Vilnius business district. The development integrates seamlessly with its surroundings, linking Europa Square with a generous forecourt and extending toward the Neris River waterfront park through its galleria and greenspaces—creating a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly urban corridor.

The ground floor of Artery offers a range of public amenities, including two dedicated lobbies for the hotel and office components, as well as high-end retail, a restaurant, and a bar. The 6-story podium houses a 260-room hotel, while the tower’s upper levels—from floors 7 to 18—offer approximately 9,500 square meters of premium Class A office space.

Throughout the design and construction process, sustainability remained a key priority. The completed building incorporates a suite of environmentally conscious technologies, including geothermal heating and cooling systems, solar collectors, groundwater wells, and hydronic floor systems—all contributing to reduced environmental impact and increased energy efficiency.

Artery now stands as a dynamic and thoughtful addition to Vilnius—where contemporary architecture, environmental responsibility, and urban vitality converge.
